Sarlak (Persian : سرلك )[ 3] was a village in Zaz-e Sharqi Rural District of Zaz and Mahru District , Aligudarz County , Lorestan province, Iran .

Ethnicity
Sarlak is a 400-year old clan from the Haft Lang branch of the Bakhtiyari tribe, who originally had lived in eastern Khuzestan , Lorestan , and Isfahan provinces.[citation needed ]
Population
At the time of the 2006 National Census, the village's population was 111 in 22 households.[ 2]
After the census, the village of Shulabad-e Sofla merged with the villages of Asar , Del Suran , Derakht Chaman , Khodadadkosh-e Olya , Khodadadkosh-e Sofla , Sarlak, and Shulabad-e Olya , with its name changed to Shulabad upon its elevation to the status of a city.[ 4]
