Universitas Timika (UTI) adalah sebuah perguruan tinggi swasta di provinsi Papua Tengah, Indonesia yang berada di bawah naungan Yayasan PENYELENGGARA UNIVERSITAS TIMIKA PAPUA dan didirikan dengan surat keputusan Kemendikbud nomer SK PT: 64DO2006, 21 April 2006.[1] Pada serah terima jabatan tanggal 1 Agustus 2023, rektor UTI yang baru adalah Marthinus Sahetapy, SP., M.Si untuk periode 2023-2025, menggantikan Johanis Isack Baransano, S.P., M.P yang telah selesai masa jabatannya.[2]
