UGM-73 Poseidon adalah peluru kendali balistik tahap kedua dari Angkatan Laut Amerika Serikat (US Navy). Peluru kendali ini bermesin roket dua tahap berbahan bakar padat. Poseidon menggantikan UGM-27 Polaris pada awal 1972. Poseidon dibandingkan Polaris lebih canggih dalam hal hulu ledak dan keakuratannya. Poseidon kemudian digantikan oleh Trident I pada 1979, dan Trident II pada 1990.

Walaupun Poseidon lebih panjang dan jauh lebih berat berbanding Polaris A-3, keduanya mempunyai jangkauan jarak yang sama yaitu sekitar 4.600 km (2.500 mil laut). Poseidon juga mempunyai ketepatan yang lebih baik dan memiliki 14 buah hulu ledak MIRV termonuklir W68.
