Keuskupan Canterbury adalah salah satu keuskupan Gereja Inggris yang meliputi wilayah timur Kent yang didirikan oleh Agustinus dari Canterbury pada tahun 597. Keuskupan ini berpusat di Katedral Canterbury dan merupakan tahta tertua dari Gereja Inggris.

Keuskupan ini terbagi atas tiga kediakonan agung,[1] yang terdiri atas lima belas dekanat:[2]

  • Kediakonan Agung Canterbury – Canterbury, wilayah timur dan barat Bridge, Reculver dan Thanet
  • Kediakonan Agung Ashford – Ashford, Dover, Elham, Romney dan Tenterden, Sandwich;
  • Kediakonan Agung Maidstone – Maidstone, Downs Utara, Ospringe, Sittingbourne, Weald.

Uskup

Uskup diosesan adalah Uskup Agung Canterbury, saat ini dijabat oleh Justin Welby. Namun, karena perannya sebagai uskup dari Provinsi Canterbury, Primat dari Gereja Inggris dan pemimpin Komuni Anglikan di seluruh dunia, uskup agung sering berada jauh dari keuskupan. Oleh karena itu, salah satu uskup sufragan, Uskup Dover (Trevor Wilmott), bertindak seolah-olah menjadi uskup diosesan.
