F48 BMW X1 adalah generasi kedua dan sekarang dari seluruh generasi BMW X1 berbagai SUV subkompak crossover mewah

Model long-wheelbase (Kode model F49) diresmikan pada Beijing Auto Show 2016, dan memiliki 110 mm (4,3 in) wheelbase yang lebih panjang.[3] Long-wheelbase model berbagi mesin yang sama dan juga memperkenalkan all-wheel drive hybrid model disebut xDrive25Le.[4] Model ini dijual secara eksklusif di China, dengan penjualan telah dimulai pada Mei 2016.[5]

Semua model yang sekarang adalah penggerak roda depan (dipasarkan sebagai sDrive) dan juga tersedia dengan penggerak seluruh roda (xDrive).[6]

Pengembangan dan peluncuran

F48 X1 diluncurkan pada Frankfurt Motor Show 2015,[7] dan kemudian di Tokyo Motor Show 2015.[8]

Hal ini didasarkan pada modular front-wheel drive UKL2 platform yang dibagi antara model BMW dan MINI,[9] bukannya berdasarkan rear-wheel drive Seri 3 Touring platform seperti dengan generasi X1 sebelumnya .[10]

Sebagai perbandingan, F48 X1 memiliki 90 mm (4 in) wheelbase lebih pendek, dan 23 mm (1 in) lebih luas, dan 67 mm (3 in) lebih tinggi. Namun, platform baru ini telah memungkinkan untuk peningkatan interior ruang kaki, ruang kepala dan ruang bahu.[11]

xDrive25i dipasarkan sebagai xDrive28i di pasar Amerika Utara.[12]

Fasilitas

Semua model mendapatkan velg 17-inch alloy, rak atap, electric tailgate, iDrive system 6,5-inci , kursi kain, dan 40:20:40 split-lipat kursi belakang.[13] X1 juga ditawarkan dalam trim Sport yang menambahkan jok sport, dan di xLine dan M Sport trim menambahkan jok kulit dipanaskan.[14] Pilihan yang tersedia meliputi panoramic sunroof, iDrive yang ditingkatkan Navigasi Plus sistem dengan layar sentuh 8,8 inci , dan head-up display.[15]

sDrive16d dan 18i model tersedia dengan transmisi manual 6-percepatan dan sDrive18i model dapat di-upgrade ke 8-percepatan Transmisi otomatis.[16] Sisanya dari berbagai model menerima 8-speed Steptronic otomatis sebagai standar.[17]
