谢瓦利尔环形山（Chevallier）是位于月球正面东北部的一座大撞击坑，其名称取自英国牧师、天文学家暨数学家坦普尔·谢瓦利尔（1794年-1873年），1935年被国际天文学联合会批准接受。

该陨坑西北靠近突出的阿特拉斯环形山、东面濒临时令湖，它的西南和东南偏南则分别毗邻残存的奥斯特陨石坑和沙克伯勒陨石坑^[1]。该陨坑中心月面坐标为45.01°N 51.57°E / 45.01; 51.57，直径51.83公里^[2]，深约2.373公里^[3]。

谢瓦利尔环形山残破的边缘略微突出在熔岩月表之上，构成数段弯曲的山脊，其中西北段部分最醒目，在那里并入了一座已被熔岩淹没的双联，西侧边缘则与坑沿尖峭的碗状坑-卫星坑阿特拉斯 A相接壤。谢瓦利尔环形山的残壁最大高出周边地形1140米^[3]，内部容积约为2174.00立方千米^[3]，坑内地表已被玄武岩熔岩重塑，并与坑外地形连成一体，坑底东部坐落了部分被熔岩淹没的卫星坑谢瓦利尔 B。
