製作

2019年1月28日，HBO宣佈預訂半小時喜劇小品影集，羅賓·席德（英语：Robin Thede）負責開發並執筆編劇[7]，她與伊莎·蕾共同擔當執行監製[8]。

2019年5月25日，蘿倫·艾希莉·史密斯（Lauren Ashley Smith）被聘為首席編劇，阿什利·妮可·布萊克（英语：Ashley Nicole Black）、加布里埃爾·丹尼斯（英语：Gabrielle Dennis）和昆塔·布倫森加入固定演出陣容[8]。此外，布裏塔尼·尼科爾斯（英语：Brittani Nichols）成為編劇群成員之一[9]。

2019年8月27日，HBO宣佈預訂影集第二季[10]。
