Halepli Zeki Paşa, Zeki Baraz Kolaç (Kılıçoğlu)[2] veya Zeki Kolaç[3] (1862 Halep - 1943 İstanbul)[2][3]) veya Mehmet Zeki Baraz,[1] Balkan Savaşları ve I. Dünya Savaşı sırasında Osmanlı Ordusu'nun Balkanlar'da görevli müşirdir.

Yaşamı

1883 yılında Harbiye'den süvari subayı olarak mezun oldu. 27 Haziran 1886'da Erkan-ı Harbiye subayı olarak ordu saflarına katıldı.[2] 1897 Osmanlı-Yunan Savaşı'na katıldı. Balkan Savaşı sırasında Vardar Ordusu komutanlığı yaptı. 15 Nisan 1900 tarihinde generalliğe terfi edildi.[4]

Birinci Dünya Savaşı'nın başlamasından önce Şam'da 2. Ordu müfettişi olarak görev yapıyordu. Büyük harbin başlamasuyla 2. Ordu Müfettişliği, 4. Ordu adı altında yeniden kurulunca, bu ordunun komutanlığına Eylül 1914'te atandı.

Başkomutanlık Vekaletinin Kanal Seferi'ne karşı çıktığı için görevden alındı ve yerine Bahriye Nazırı Cemal Paşa 18 Kasım 1914'te atandı.[5]

Ekim 1914'te savaşın sonuna kadar Berlin'de Sultan V. Mehmed Reşad’ın özel temsilcisi olarak görev yaptı. 2 Ekim 1923 tarihinde emekli oldu.

Zeki Paşa (sol altta) Rusya ile ateşkes imzalayan Osmanlı heyetine başkanlık ediyordu.
