Yılmaz Ergun

Yılmaz Ergun, (d. 1932 Trabzon Türkiye), Türk bürokrat.

1932 yılında İstanbul’da doğdu. 1953 yılında Ankara Üniversitesi Siyasal Bilgiler Fakültesi’nin İdari Şubesi’nden mezun oldu. 1954 yılında Hukuk Fakültesi fark imtihanını vererek Hukuk Fakültesi Sertifikasını aldı. Maiyet Memurluğunu tamamladıktan sonra çeşitli ilçelerde Kaymakamlık, bilahare 1960-1980 yıllarında Mülkiye Başmüfettişliği görevlerini ifa etti. 1980-1991 yıllarında sırası ile Bitlis, Trabzon, Edirne ve Elazığ valiliklerinde bulundu. 18 Şubat 1992 - 10 Temmuz 1993 tarihleri arasında Emniyet Genel Müdürlüğü görevinde bulunduktan sonra 1994 yılında dönemin Cumhurbaşkanı Süleyman Demirel tarafından Cumhurbaşkanlığı Devlet Denetleme Kurulu Üyeliği görevine atandı ve bu görevini Cumhurbaşkanı Ahmet Necdet Sezer döneminde de belli bir süre sürdürdü. Merkez Valiliğinden emekli olmuştur. Evli ve 3 çocuk babasıdır. [1]
