Molla Veli Vidadî (Azerice: Molla Vəli Vidadi; d. 17 Mart 1709, Şemkir - ö. 13 Mayıs 1809, Şıhlı), Azeri şair ve din adamı.

Hayatı

Azerbaycan'ın Şemkir kentinde 1709 yılında doğdu. Gerçek adı Veli'dir, takma adı Heste Vidadî'dir. İlk eğitimini Şemkir'de aldı ve eğitimine devam etmek için Poylu'ya gitti. Arapça ve Farsçayı ileri düzeyde öğrenmiştir. Medrese eğitimi gördükten sonra babasının ölümü üzerine annesi ile beraber Kazah şehrinin Şıhlı köyüne yerleşti. Burada katiplik görevinde bulundu ve medrese hocalığı yaptı. Katibi olduğu Ahmed Ağa'nın ölümü üzerine ekonomik sıkıntılar içine düştü. Azeri şair Molla Penah Vakıf ile dostluk ilişkisi kurdu, şiirsel diyalog kurdular[1] ve iki oğlu Molla Penah'ın iki kızı ile evlendi. II. Erekle'nin Tiflis'teki sarayında hizmet etti, ama bilinmeyen sebeplerden ötürü tutuklandı ve hapishaneden serbest bırakıldıktan sonra Şıhlı'ya döndü ve ölümüne kadar orada yaşadı. Birkaç yıl Karabağ'ın Gülistan Hanlığı'nda kaldıysa da sonra tekrar Şıhlı'ya geri döndü. Burada hem çiftçilik yaptı hem medresede ders verdi. 13 Mayıs 1809 tarihinde Şıhlı'da öldü.[2]

Vidadi'nin mirasının küçük bir kısmı bilinmektedir. Vidadi'nin eserlerinin ana motifleri, feodal zulmün, hüzün ve çaresizliğin, hanlık döneminden kaynaklanan manevi yalnızlığın şikayetleridir. Hümanist bir zanaatkâr olan Vidadi, vatan ve emekçiye derinden aşıktır. Vidadi'nin aşk şiirleri de mevcuttur. Vidadi'nin lirik şiirleri sanatsal zanaatın harika bir örneğidir. Vidadi'nin basit ve gerçekçi (bazen mistisizm unsurlarını içeren) edebi üslubu geleneksel Azeri aşık türüne benziyordu. Vidadi, gerçekçi olma eğilimi gösteren şairlerden biriydi. Rusça ve diğer dillere birçok eseri tercüme edilmiştir. Şiirleri Hamit Araslı tarafından neşredilmiştir.
