Mario Morra (1935, Roma - 11 Ekim 2024, Castelnuovo di Porto, İtalya), İtalyan kurgucu, yönetmen ve senarist.

Hayatı

Morra, 1935'te Roma, İtalya'da doğdu. 1953'te başladığı sinema kariyerini 2005 yılına kadar sürdürdü. 1960'ların başında yardımcı kurgucu ve 1964'ten sonra kurgucu olarak sinema sektörüne hizmet verdi.[1] Mesleğinin en iyi temsilcilerinden birisi olarak sanatsal filmlerin yanı sıra farklı türlerdeki projelerdede görev aldı.[1] En çok kurgucu olarak yer aldığı 1990'da dalında "En İyi Kurgu" BAFTA Ödülü'ne aday gösterilen Giuseppe Tornatore'nin yönettiği Cinema Paradiso adlı filmle tanındı.[2]

Aynı zamanda 1970'li ve 1980'li yıllarda genellikle Antonio Climati ile birlikte spor içerikli çekilen Turbo Time gibi birçok başarılı belgeselin yönetmenliğini ve senaristliğini yapmıştır.[1]

Morra, 11 Ekim 2024'te Castelnuovo di Porto, İtalya'da doğal nedenlerden 89 yaşında öldü.[3]
