Ang Summonte ay isang komuna sa lalawigan ng Avellino, Campania, katimugang Italya.

Kasaysayan

Ang Summonte ay itinatag sa pagitan ng ikasampu at ikalabing-isang siglo, na nakasentro sa mga lumang kuta ng lokasyon. Ang pangalan ay nagmula sa lokasyon nito sa paanan ng Bundok Partenio.[4] Noong ikalabindalawang siglo, kasama ang pananakop ng mga Normando, ito ay isang distrito sa ilalim ng pamilyang Malerba.[5] Sa unang kalahati ng ikalabing-apat na siglo, ang huling miyembro ng pamilya Malerba ay namatay na walang tagapagmana, at ito ay ipinasa sa pamilyang Leonessa.[6]

Ang Italyanong artista na si Raffaele Della Pia ay ipinanganak sa Summonte.[7]
