Ang paragis o damong ligaw (Eleusine indica) ay isang espesye ng damo na may taas na 10 sentimetro hanggang isang metro. Ang mga dahon ng paragis ay may habang 10 hanggang 30 sentimetro at 3 hanggang 7 milimetro ang lapad. Madaling makilala ang paragis sa kakaibang itsura nito, na animo'y hugis araw, ang mga dahon ay mistulang mga sinag.

Madali itong makukuha sa mga lugar na maraming damo, kadalasan ay sa mga pampang ng batis o ilog, gilid ng kalsada at kahit na sa mga lugar na tinitirahan ng mga tao. Ang paragis ay tumutubo sa Asya at Aprika. Itinuring minsan itong peste sa ibang mga lugar. Sinasabing nakakagamot ng mga sakit ang paragis tulad ng diabetes at mayoma.[1]
