Ang Orvinio ay isang komuna (munisipalidad) sa Lalawigan ng Rieti sa rehiyon ng Lazio ng gitnang Italya, na matatagpuan mga 45 kilometro (28 mi) hilagang-silangan ng Roma at mga 30 kilometro (19 mi) timog ng Rieti.
Ang sinaunang lungsod ng Orvinium ay nawasak bago ang taong 1000. Ang kapalit na bayan ay pinangalanang "Canemortem", o kalaunan ay "Canemorto", hanggang sa pinalitan ito ng Orvinio noong 1863. Mayroong maraming mga kuwento kung bakit ang pangalang Canemorto ay dati nang nakadikit sa pook.[4]
