Ang NGC 1 ay isang intermediate na galaksiyang espayral na matatagpuan sa konstelasyon ng Pegasus at may layo na humigit-kumulang nasa 185 milyong taong-liwanag mula sa Daigdig. Natuklasan ito ng astronomo na si Heinrich d'Arrest noong Setyembre 30, 1861.[3][4]

Ang NGC 1 ang kauna-unahang bagay na nakalista sa Bagong Pangkalahatang Katalogo (NGC).[5] May laki itong nasa 96,700 na taong-liwanag.[1] Mayroon din itong ibang katawagan, kabilang dito ang UGC 57 at PGC 564.
