Ang marlin o stiophoridae ay ang anumang maiilap na mga isdang matatagpuan sa maligamgam na katubigan ng mga karagatan sa buong mundo. Mayroon itong bilugan dugtong o tulis sa pang-itaas na panga na parang espada. Ang bughaw na marlin ang pinakamalaking uri nito matatagpuan sa Karagatang Atlantiko, na umaabot sa timbang na 1,000 mga libra. Mayroong kulay na madilim na bughaw ang likod ng marling bughaw, may mapusyaw na bughaw na mga tagiliran, at mayroon ding bandang labintatlong mga lilang guhit sa bawat gilid.[1]
