Ang fatwa o fatwah (Arabe: فتوى) sa pananampalatayang Islam ay ang legal na payò o opinyon ng isang mufti o Muslim na may mataas na napag-aralan, base sa Qur'an, Sunnah at Shariah.[1][2] Ang taong nagpapalabas ng fatwa ay tinatawag na Mufti. Ang isang fatwa ay hindi lubos at pormal na posisyon dahil ayon sa karamihan ng mga Muslim, ang sinumang arál sa batas ng Islam may maaaring magbigay ng opinyon (fatwa) sa mga pangangaral nito. Kung tila pangkaraniwan lamang at hindi na bago ang isang fatwa, tinatawag na lamang ito na desisyon.[3]
