Ang cytoskeleton ay isang "scaffolding"(platapormang ginagamit na pangsuporta) o "skeleton"(kalansay) na matatagpuan sa loob ng cytoplasmo ng selula at gawa sa protina. Ang cytoskeleton ay makikita sa lahat ng mga selula. Ito ay may mga istrakturang gaya ng flagella, cilia at lamellipodia at gumagampan ng tungkulin sa parehong paghahatid sa loob ng selula (gaya ng paggalaw ng mga besikulo at organulo) at paghahati ng selula.
