Letisko Antalya (tur. Antalya Havalimanı; IATA: AYT, ICAO: LTAI) je vzdialené 13 km (8,1 míľ) severovýchodne od centra Antalye, v Turecku. Obsluhuje hlavnú turistickú oblasť v Turecku na pobreží Stredozemného mora. Letisko bolo postavené kvôli miliónom cestujúcich, ktorý prilietajú na letné dovolenky do Turecka. V roku 2014 odbavilo celkovo 28 341 063 cestujúcich, z toho viac ako 22 miliónov boli medzinárodní cestujúci. Má dva medzinárodné terminály a jeden terminál na odbavenie letov v rámci Turecka. Antalya je najväčšie letisko na juhozápade Turecka, ďalšie sú Gazipaşa, Dalaman a Milas-Bodrum.

História

Výstavba medzinárodného terminálu 1 začala v roku 1996 a odbaviť prvých cestujúcich bol pripravený 1. apríla 1998. V roku 1999 podpísal nemecký prevádzkovateľ letísk, spoločnosť Fraport AG, so spoločnosťou Bayindir Holding dohodu o založení spoločného podniku. Terminál 1 prevádzkuje Fraport AG a nový medzinárodný terminál 2 spoločnosť Celebi.

V júli 2011 bolo letisko ocenené Airports Council International (ACI) ako "Najlepšie letisko v Európe" (kategória 10 - 25 miliónov cestujúcich).

Štatistiky

  • Roku 2000 prekročil po prvýkrát počet pasažierov 9 miliónov.
  • Roku 2002 sa letisko umiestnilo ako 84. na svete a 25. v Európe.
  • Roku 2003 bol dosiahnutý počet 10 miliónov pasažierov, znamenajúc 78% nárast od roku 1998.[1]
  • Na letiskovom termináli pristane asi 40% všetkých turistov, ktorí priletia do Turecka.
  • Počet zamestnancov letiska je takmer 2000.[2]
  • Podľa ACI (Airport Council International) štatistík sa antalyjské letisko od roku 2001 stále umiestňuje medzi 100 najväčšími letiskami sveta.
  • Podľa ACI je letisko Antalya druhé najväčšie letisko na stredomorskom pobreží, hneď za Malorkou.[3]
  • Podľa ACI štatistík získalo antalyjské letisko v roku 2005 podľa počtu zahraničných pasažiero 30. miesto.
