Bacary Sagna (vyslovuje sa Bakary Saňa) (* 14. február 1983, Sens, Francúzsko) je francúzsky futbalový obranca senegalského pôvodu, ktorý pôsobí v klube Manchester City a reprezentuje Francúzsko. Jeho bratranec Ibrahima Sonko hrá tiež v Premier League za Stoke City.

Auxerre

Bacary je odchovancom mládežníckej akadémie AJ Auxerre, kde prešiel všetkými vekovými kategóriami až v roku 2004 prvýkrát nastúpil za seniorský tím. V roku 2005 vyhral Francúzsky Pohár a v sezóne 2006/07 bol zvolený do Tímu roka v Ligue 1 ako najlepší pravý obranca súťaže. Za Auxerre odohral aj 17 zápasov v Pohári UEFA.

Arsenal

12. júla 2007 Sagna prestúpil do klubu Premier League Arsenal Londýn za nezverejnené odstupné, ale odhadovala sa suma od 6 do 8 miliónov libier. Obliekol dres s číslom 3, ktorý pred ním nosil Ashley Cole a veľký miláčik publika Nigel Winterburn. Sagna debutoval za Arsenal 19. júla 2007 v prípravnom zápase proti tureckému Genclerbirligi (3-0) v tréningovom centre Bad Waltersdorf v Rakúsku.

Premier League si prvýkrát vyskúšal 21. augusta 2007 v domácom zápase proti Fulhamu (2-1). Sagna je preferovaný ako pravý bek, môže však hrať aj naľavo, na pozícii stopéra a aj ako stredopoliar. Bacary vytlačil z postu pravého obrancu v Arsenale Emmanuela Ebouého, pokiaľ ten zaskakoval na pravom krídle.

23. marca 2008 strelil svoj prvý gól za The Gunners po hlavičke z rohového kopu v zápase proti Chelsea (1-2). Tento gól mal pre Bacaryho špecifický význam, keďže ho venoval svojmu bratovi, ktorý zomrel mesiac pred tým. Na konci sezóny bol vybraný do Tímu roka 2008 v Premier League zostavovanom Asociáciou Profesionálnych Futbalistov (PFA).

4. júna 2008, Sagna po prvej úspešnej sezóne podpísal nový kontrakt na ďalšie dva roky s možnosťou predĺženia zmluvy až do roku 2014.[1] Sagna skonštatoval: Milujem Arsenal, je to skvelý klub a ďalej povedal: Tréner je veľmi dobrý a v nasledujúcej sezóne budeme bojovať o všetky trofeje.

13. Jún 2014 Sagna prestupuje do Manchester City FC za 24 miliónov libier

Francúzsko

Sagna hral za francúzsku reprezentáciu do 21 rokov na Európskom šampionáte tejto vekovej kategórie v roku 2006. Celkovo za "dvadsaťjednotku" odohral 28 zápasov bez streleného gólu. Prvýkrát za A tím hral 22. augusta 2007 proti Slovensku v prípravnom zápase (1-0) v Trnave. Tréner Raymond Domenech ho nenominoval na Majstrovstvá Európy vo futbale 2008.
