January 2022

Hello, Caro de Segeda! Here at Simple English Wikipedia we use the section heading "Other websites" instead of English Wikipedia's "External links", which you used in "Centre de documentation et d'étude sur la langue internationale". This makes it simpler and easier to read. Please remember to use "Other websites" in articles that you create in the future. Thank you for your help! MathXplore (talk) 06:07, 21 January 2022 (UTC)Reply

Thank you so much for your feedback. I will remember that. Caro de Segeda (talk) 06:46, 21 January 2022 (UTC)Reply

Quick deletion of History of Interlingua

The page you wrote, History of Interlingua, has been selected for quick deletion. If you think this page should be kept, please add {{wait}} below the line {{QD}} and say why on the talk page. If the page is already gone, but you think this was an error, you can ask for it to be undeleted. You can find more information about the reason here. MathXplore (talk) 15:27, 10 December 2022 (UTC)Reply

I am working on it, but I don't know which is the template here to indicate that I am still writing it. Caro de Segeda (talk) 15:31, 10 December 2022 (UTC)Reply

December 2022

We like and strongly encourage helpful changes to Wikipedia, but "History of Interlingua" was directly copied and pasted from the main English Wikipedia. Please do not do that. Such articles are usually too complex. They need to be simplified before or immediately after being added to the Simple English Wikipedia. In addition, be sure to include attribution on the article's talk page. Thank you. MathXplore (talk) 15:28, 10 December 2022 (UTC)Reply

Hello, Caro de Segeda. It looks like "Alphonse Matejka" was derived from the English Wikipedia or another version of Wikipedia. If that is indeed the case, please make sure you add some form of attribution, either in your change summary or on the article's talk page. This must be done, even for derivative works, or the article will be deleted in time. More instructions on how to do this are at Wikipedia:Transwiki attribution. Thank you. MathXplore (talk) 15:34, 10 December 2022 (UTC)Reply

Requesting deletion of articles

Hello there, when you request an article be quickly deleted, please do not blank the page. It makes it more difficult for admins to tell whether an article should be deleted or not. Please also remember to give a reason for the article to be deleted, the criteria is at WP:QD. Thanks, --Ferien (talk) 18:47, 12 December 2022 (UTC)Reply

Ok, thanks for the information, I will be more careful next time :) Caro de Segeda (talk) 18:57, 12 December 2022 (UTC)Reply

Bulk adding municipalities

We have a policy here against bot or bot-like article creation. If you are going to create dozens of municipality articles, they mist be as simple as possible, please. Have a look at Carrión de los Condes to see how it and the others can be simpler. "Found in" is never needed. Name province is simpler than province of Name because "of" can mean several different relationships in geography. Please let me know if you have any questions about this. And, generally it is better for the wiki to spend time creating articles with some information in them than just putting up as many one sentence stubs as possible. --Gotanda (talk) 02:24, 13 December 2022 (UTC)Reply

I actually copied the sentence from a previous article but, anyways, I will try to create longer articles. Thanks for your message. Caro de Segeda (talk) 07:49, 13 December 2022 (UTC)Reply
I understand about the previous example. I keep trying to clean them up so that newer editors will find very simple examples. Now you have my example, can you clean up your past location stubs, please? That way the next new editor may find a simple example to follow. Thanks, --Gotanda (talk) 04:08, 15 December 2022 (UTC)Reply

Please consider to take quick (and big) action, on "your" article

German balanced budget amendment.

Hi! "Your" article does not seem like Simple English.--I suggest that you keep the lede, but consider to move the rest to the talk page (of that article).--If that seems like a helpful/constructive idea, then fine. Have a nice day. 2001:2020:359:B9D1:495F:4552:3738:A7DA (talk) 17:38, 30 July 2025 (UTC)Reply

Note: i have tried to simplify, the first two dozen words of the lede.--The topic of the article, seems important (maybe even 'very important'). 2001:2020:359:B9D1:495F:4552:3738:A7DA (talk) 17:41, 30 July 2025 (UTC)Reply
I have changed it, take a look now. I also suggest you to create an account. Caro de Segeda (talk) 17:44, 30 July 2025 (UTC)Reply
Yeah, that seemed like a single step in the right direction.--Have a nice day. 2001:2020:359:B9D1:495F:4552:3738:A7DA (talk) 18:22, 30 July 2025 (UTC)Reply

Your c. 4 last articles, are being (informally) challenged (by me)

I have glanced at your 4 latest articles.--Please stop creating new articles, until your, say, 4 last articles 'can not' get QD for not being simple.--Please ask established user, when you think that any one of those articles 'can pass QD-or-a QD-Nomination'.--If anyone can turn my words (on this talk page), into diplomatic phrases, then please do!--Best wishes.-- 2001:2020:359:B9D1:495F:4552:3738:A7DA (talk) 18:00, 30 July 2025 (UTC)Reply

You don't even have an account here and you are giving advice to other users that have been contributing for far longer than you. Please, before checking what other users do and giving any advice create some articles for a while. Caro de Segeda (talk) 18:05, 30 July 2025 (UTC)Reply
Two (other) establishe users, have recently today, tried to give you 'advice' on one of those articles:

"
17:46, 30 July 2025 ... Endorsing quick deletion nomination (QD A7). ...

16:52, 30 July 2025 ... Requesting quick deletion (QD A7). ...
".--Have a nice day. 2001:2020:359:B9D1:495F:4552:3738:A7DA (talk) 18:20, 30 July 2025 (UTC)Reply

AI articles

Are you using AI to generate some of the articles you are adding? Some of the articles you've added today seem to have hallmarks of AI generated articles. CountryANDWestern (talk) 18:44, 30 July 2025 (UTC)Reply

What do you mean by "hallmarks"? Which ones? Caro de Segeda (talk) 19:18, 30 July 2025 (UTC)Reply
You kind of avoided answering my question there: are you using AI to generate articles? CountryANDWestern (talk) 19:24, 30 July 2025 (UTC)Reply
I didn't avoid the answer, but given that some articles have already been deleted doesn't really make sense to answer it anymore. Caro de Segeda (talk) 19:32, 30 July 2025 (UTC)Reply
Several of your created articles have recently been deleted as they were clearly created with AI. Please do not add more AI created content here or you may be blocked. -Barras talk 05:25, 17 August 2025 (UTC)Reply

Stop making A.I. articles (as of November 9)

From yesterday,

"22:37 ... talk changes deleted page Donald Trump's September 2025 Gaza Strip proposal (A7: was clearly AI-generated and recommended for deletion by at least two editors (TW))". ~2025-27778-01 (talk) 02:55, 10 October 2025 (UTC)Reply

I don't know who can say that it is "clearly AI-generated" but you have already deleted it so there is not much to talk about. Caro de Segeda (talk) 08:13, 10 October 2025 (UTC)Reply

It says "not found in other wikis" and, as per the wikilinks, that is not true. It states that is is about a "non-notable concept", whereas this is the Simple English Wikipedia, so clearly, at least here, it is notable. Caro de Segeda (talk) 09:34, 15 October 2025 (UTC)Reply

Thank you. Caro de Segeda (talk) 08:53, 18 November 2025 (UTC)Reply
I know it might look weird if I just paste a long article in one go, but I prefer to work on it in Word first, and once I feel it is ready, I paste it here. Caro de Segeda (talk) 08:54, 18 November 2025 (UTC)Reply
Honestly fair, we all have our own preference on how we do things (I prefer to do longer articles in a sandbox first, and just work on it gradually). Combined with the fact I don't think I've actually seen you before (I would say welcome to Wikipedia, but I'd be nearly four years too late), and you can somewhat understand why I QD'd it just based off it being very similar. Again, apologies for all that. ShadowBallX (talk) 09:04, 18 November 2025 (UTC)Reply
No worries, thanks for your work here :) Caro de Segeda (talk) 09:08, 18 November 2025 (UTC)Reply

Which template should I use? I know there is the Template:Translated page, but the original article is in English, so it looks a bit weird to use that one given the fact the this Wikipedia is also in English... Should I use that one or do you know whether there is a better option? Caro de Segeda (talk) 17:34, 18 November 2025 (UTC)Reply
You can use the translated one still or you can use {{Enwp based}}. CountryANDWestern (talk) 17:44, 18 November 2025 (UTC)Reply
Done, thank you for telling me, I didn't know about that template. Caro de Segeda (talk) 17:48, 18 November 2025 (UTC)Reply

Hello, Caro de Segeda! Here at Simple English Wikipedia we use the section heading "Related pages" instead of English Wikipedia's "See also". This makes it simpler and easier to read. Please remember to use "Related pages" in articles that you create in the future. Thank you for your help! We also use "Other websites" instead of "External links". If you would like to know about other things that are different here, you can look at this list I maintain of such things. Feel free to ask any questions you have about it. Thank you for letting me know and sorry for the inconveniences caused. I have amended the articles I created accordingly. Caro de Segeda (talk) 08:16, 25 November 2025 (UTC)Reply

Sorry, I am a bit confused. There is no template indicating somebody has asked for its deletion. On the history page, you mentioned A3 and A7 as reasons to ask for its deletion. A3 indicates that the article requires more simplification, which I will keep doing (I haven't finished editing the article). A7 mentions AI, something I don't understand why has been said. As I mentioned, I am not done with the article, but I don't know which template I need to use to indicate that I am still writing it. Caro de Segeda (talk) 11:59, 28 November 2025 (UTC)Reply
