Hi, I am Caro de Segeda. I have helped in different Wikipedias, specially in the ones written in artificial languages, Spanish and Extremaduran (a minority language spoken in Spain). After testing different constructed languages, I decided to only use Glosa, as I grew fond of its easiness and simplicity. It is the only artificial language that can be used almost immediately, and that usefulness was something its creators had in mind:
| „ | A truly International Auxiliary Language must be easy to learn for motivated people everywhere. It must not become a merely holiday language for comfortable westerners. |

Lancelot Hogben, Interglossa's creator (the language which Glosa is based upon), who was aware of the existence of Basic English, also created a simplified version of English called Essential World English, as an attempt of improving Ogden's creation.
As English is the de facto international language, I decided to help in this Wikipedia, which can be a great resource for both people learning English and people with a limited knowledge of the language.
