Welcome! This is the Adoption page, where inexperienced users can get some teaching and mentoring from our more experienced editors here at Wikipedia. We hope that you will find the experiences helpful but fun, and that your adopter (the person helping) will do too!

Adoptee's

An adoptee can be anyone who needs help. This may be with simple Wikipedia things or writing in Simple English. If you need an adopter, you can add yourself to the list of Adoptees or post the userbox below by adding {{User:LB22/Adoption/Userboxes/Adoptme}} to your user page.

Once you have an adopter

Once you have an adopter, you should add {{User:LB22/Adoption/Userboxes/Adoptee|ADOPTER NAME HERE}} to your user page.

Adopters

An adopter must have over 100 edits to their name on any of the versions on Wikipedia, but with adopters focusing on teaching Simple English, they must have 250 edits. If you are seeking an adoptee then add the userbox below by adding {{User:LB22/Adoption/Userboxes/Adoption}} to your user page.
