First, check how your article is linked to other articles. Are there other words in the text that should be linked to their articles? If the article doesn't exist, red links are fine if the topic is important enough that it should have its own article. Remember to also check whether the article you are looking for is under a different name

To other Wikipedias

Interwiki links link the article to its translations in other languages on other Wikipedias. Interwiki robots normally link the articles together, but they don't link everything. All Simple English articles should be linked to their English Wikipedia article which is normally under the same title. If you can read another language, you can also check that Wikipedia to see whether a translation exists there for that Wikipedia.

To sister projects

You can also find related information on Wikipedia's sister projects. Use the templates on Wikipedia:Sister_projects to link them together.

To other websites

Links to other websites outside of Wikipedia/Wikimedia projects should be used carefully. If the article already has outside links, check them to see whether they are suitable.

Suitable links must be in English, and not specifically for selling a product.

Example: A travel website containing information on Florida for tourists is fine. A site with minimal/no information that is purely for selling holidays to Florida is not.

A good article normally contains about 3-5 relevant outside links. If there are more than that, check the websites to see if you can cut it down.
