Trois-Fontaines-l'Abbaye is a commune in the Marne department, in Grand-Est, in France. About 193 people live there. It is about 10.5 kilometres (6.5 mi) from Saint-Dizier, and about 11 kilometres (6.8 mi) from Sermaize-les-Bains. In the 17th century, the village developed around the cistercian abbey Trois-Fontaines Abbey. Today, it is a rural commune. It is part of the urban area of Saint-Dizier, which has about 50.000 people. It lies inside a forest, the Forêt de Trois Fontaines. The other village in the forest is Cheminon.
