Brewer's carrying frog (Stefania breweri) is a frog. It lives in Venezuela.[2][3][1]
Scientists found this frog on Cerro Autana. This place has grassy places on it. They found the frog between 1,250 m (4,100 ft) above sea level. They found the frogs in bromeliad plants.[2][1]
Scientists have seen this frog in one protected place, Cerro Autana Natural Monument.[1]
The female frogs carry their eggs on their backs. The eggs hatch into small froglets, not swimming tadpoles.[1]
Scientists from the IUCN and the Venezuelan Fauna Red List say this frog is in some danger of dying out. Too many visitors can hurt the frog. Climate change can hurt the frog. Viruses, bacteria, and fungi can hurt this frog by making it sick.[1]
Scientists say people should catch this frog so it can have young and then put the young back in the wild.[1]
