Spencer Abraham (born June 12, 1952) is an American politician. He represented Michigan in the United States Senate from 1995 until 2001. He was the 10th United States Secretary of Energy. He is a Republican.[1]
Abraham was born on June 12, 1952 in East Lansing, Michigan.[1] He graduated from Michigan State University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in 1974.[2] Abraham received his J.D. degree from Harvard Law School in 1979. He is married to Jane Abraham.[2]
