Overview

Directed by J. C. Chandor and written by Richard Wenk, Art Marcum, and Matt Holloway, the movie will be the 6th movie in Sony's Spider-Man Universe (SSU), a cinematic universe based on characters related to the superhero Spider-Man.

Aaron Taylor-Johnson stars as Kraven, having played Quicksilver in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) movie Avengers: Age of Ultron (2015). Rhino and the Chameleon, who are both Spider-Man's enemies like Kraven, also appear in the movie.^[source?]

Before Sony decided to make a Kraven movie, they planned to make him the main villain in one of Spider-Man's movies. The movie's budget is $130 million.^[1]
