Haydn Fleury
Haydn Fleury (born July 8, 1996) is a Canadian professional ice hockey defenceman. He currently plays for the Winnipeg Jets of the National Hockey League (NHL).

Haydn Fleury (born July 8, 1996) is a Canadian professional ice hockey defenceman. He currently plays for the Winnipeg Jets of the National Hockey League (NHL). He has also played for the Carolina Hurricanes, Anaheim Ducks, Seattle Kraken, and Tampa Bay Lightning.
Career
Before playing in the NHL, Fleury played three seasons with the Red Deer Rebels of the Western Hockey League (WHL).
He was drafted 7th overall by the Carolina Hurricanes in the 2014 NHL entry draft.[1] On August 7, 2014, Fleury signed a three-year, $2.49 million entry-level contract to join the Hurricanes.[2]
On February 9, 2018, Fleury made his NHL debut in a 5–4 shootout win against the Minnesota Wild.[3] On February 13, he recorded his first two NHL points, assisting on two goals in a 6–3 win against the Toronto Maple Leafs.[4] On October 18, 2019, Fleury scored his first NHL goal against Ryan Miller in a 4–2 loss against the Anaheim Ducks.[5] On July 16, 2019, Fleury signed a one-year, $850,000 contract to stay with the Hurricanes.[6]
On April 12, 2021, the Hurricanes traded Fleury to the Anaheim Ducks in exchange for Jani Hakanpää and a 2022 sixth-round draft pick.[7] He scored 2 goals and recorded 1 assist in 12 regular season games for the Ducks.
On July 21, 2021, the Ducks left Fleury unprotected in the 2021 NHL expansion draft and he was drafted by the Seattle Kraken.[8] HE scored 2 goals and recorded 2 assists for 4 points in 36 regular season games for the Kraken.
On July 13, 2022, Fleury signed a two-year, $1.525 million contract to join the Tampa Bay Lightning.[9] He played parts of two seasons with the Lightning before being sent down to play for their AHL-affiliate Syracuse Crunch.
On July 3, 2024, Fleury signed a one-year contract to join the Winnipeg Jets.[10] On June 28, 2025, Fleury signed a two-year, $1.9 million contract to stay with the Jets.[11]
Personal life
Fleury's younger brother Cale is also a professional hockey player for the Seattle Kraken.[12]
