Yan (燕) je bilo kratkotrajno kinesko kraljevstvo sa sjedištem u Pekingu, koje je postojalo na početku perioda Pet dinastija. Osnovao ju je gospodar rata Liu Shouguang, dotadašnji vazal dinastije Kasnije Liang, koji se 911. proglasio njenim carem. Država je opstala samo dvije godine; tada ju je napao i anektirao Li Cunxu, poglavar države Jin i kasniji osnivač dinastije Kasniji Yan.

Zbog Liuove legendarne okrutnosti, kasniji historičari su za ovu državu koristili izraz Jie Yan, često uspoređujući njenog vladara sa jednako okrutnim kraljem Jieom iz dinastije Xia.
