Svjetski dan bicikla

Svjetski dan bicikla, službeni dan Ujedinjenih nacija što se svake godine obilježava 3. VI. s ciljem osvješćivanja o mnogostrukim društvenim koristima upotrebe bicikla za transport i dokolicu.[1][2] Nastao u okviru Svjetske alijanse za biciklizam (WCA), inicijative Evropskog saveza biciklista (ECF) za izgradnju globalne mreže nevladinih organizacija sa znatnim interesom za promociju biciklizma, proglašen je 12. IV. 2018. na 72. zasjedanju Generalne skupštine UN-a u New Yorku.[2]
