Replikacioni faktor C, podjedinica 3 je protein koji je kod ljudi kodiran RFC3 genom.[1][2]

Za elongaciju prajmiranog DNK šablona DNK polimerazom delta i DNK polimerazom epsilon neophodni su pomoćni proteini: proliferativni ćelijski nuklearni antigen (PCNA) i replikacioni faktor C (RFC). RFC, takođe poznat kao aktivator 1, je proteinski kompleks koji se sastoji od pet podjedinica sa 140, 40, 38, 37, i 36 kDa. Ovaj gen kodira 38 kDa podjednicu. Ta podjedinica je esencijalna za interakciju između 140 kDa podjedinice i srži kompleksa koja se sastoji od 36, 37, i 40 kDa podjedinica. Poznate su alternativno splajsovane transcriptne varijante koje kodiraju različite izoforme.[2]
