Postoji preferencija za hidrofobne ostatke Phe, Val, Ile, Leu, i Ala u P1 i P1', ali se takođe razlažu -Phe-Asp- i -Asp-Asp- veze u 2S albuminu iz biljnog semena

Ovaj enzim je pristan u zrnima ječma.
