Список муравьёв-листорезов

Список муравьёв-листорезов включает более 40 видов муравьёв из двух родов Atta и Acromyrmex (из трибы грибководов Attini, Myrmicinae), отличающихся своим исключительным поведением срезания листьев. Также характерны своим тесным симбиозом с грибами Leucocoprinus из семейства Agaricaceae (Lepiotaceae, Basidiomycota), выращиваемыми в муравейниках на основе срезанной рабочими муравьями листовой пережёванной массы, защитными шипиками на теле, двухчлениковым стебельком (между грудкой и брюшком), состоящим из петиолюса и постпетиолюса (последний четко отделен от брюшка), развитым жалом и голыми куколками (без кокона)[1][2][3][4].
