Viadukt (fra latin; via, «vei» og ducere, «å føre»; etter akvedukten)[1] er brukonstruksjon som bærer over andre kryssende hindringer, som veier, jernbanelinjer, og dalsøkk.[2]

Det er vanskelig å definere noen konkret forskjell mellom viadukter og bruer, men tradisjonelt kalles konstruksjoner som bærer over større elver eller fjorder ofte bruer. Antikkens romere benyttet ikke begrepet «viadukt»; det er en moderne avledning fra en analogi med akvedukt.[3] Som de antikke romerske akvedukter består mange tidlige viadukter av en rekke buer av ofte samme lengde. Begrepet viadukt brukes sjelden om slike konstruksjoner i Norge, mens det er vanlig sørover i Europa.
