Jan Fredrik Andresen (født 1960) er en norsk lege som var direktør for Statens helsetilsyn fra 2012 til 2023.[1]

Han avla medisinsk embetseksamen fra Universitetet i Oslo i 1989 og ble spesialist i psykiatri i 2006.

Han var ansatt i Statens helsetilsyn fra 1992 til 2001, fra 1998 som avdelingsdirektør. Inntil 2012 var Andresen avdelingssjef og leder for Voksenpsykiatrisk avdeling Vinderen ved Diakonhjemmet Sykehus.[2]

Jan Fredrik Andresen ble 28. september 2012 utnevnt til direktør i Statens helsetilsyn for en periode på seks år, og tiltrådte i november samme år.[3] I november 2018 ble han utnevnt for en ny seksårsperiode[4], men gikk av i mai 2023[1] for å lede endringer i helseforvaltningen som spesialrådgiver i Helse- og omsorgsdepartementet.
