Op het tennistoernooi van Wimbledon in 1971 speelden de vrouwen de wedstrijden in het dubbelspel van maandag 21 juni tot en met zaterdag 3 juli 1971.
De als eerste geplaatste Amerikaanse titelverdedigsters Rosie Casals en Billie Jean King wonnen het toernooi. In de finale versloegen zij het als tweede geplaatste Australische koppel Margaret Court en Evonne Goolagong in twee sets. Het was hun 37e gezamenlijke titel, de vijfde op de grandslamtoernooien. Casals had daarnaast 12 eerdere dubbelspeltitels met andere partners; King 23.
Er waren vier Nederlandse deelneemsters.
Er speelden geen Belgische vrouwen mee.
