Jimmy Fowlie (/ˈfaʊli/) merupakan seorang pelakon, penulis dan pelawak Amerika yang menerbitkan kandungan YouTube. Dahulu daripada The Groundlings, dia menghasilkan Go-Go Boy Interrupted, sebuah komedi bertema LGBT siri web berdasarkan langsung komedi sketsa menunjukkan nama yang sama. Kerjaya

Fowlie muncul di Jimmy Kimmel Live!, The Joe Schmo Show, dan seluar pendek dalam talian oleh CollegeHumor dan Nacho Punch. Dia muncul di HBO The Comeback pada tahun 2014, dan merupakan peserta dalam CBS Diversity Showcase.[1]

Fowlie mula membuat persembahan dengan The Groundlings sekitar 2012, kemudian mengajar improvisasi bersama rombongan.[2][3][4] Bermula pada Jun 2014, dia mula membuat persembahan Go-Go Boy Interrupted, rancangan komedi sketsa bertema LGBT, di teater The Groundlings. Ia mengisahkan pengembaraan Danny Carter, seorang lelaki berusia 30 tahun "terbasuh" penari go-go, berdasarkan pengalaman Fowlie sendiri sebagai penari go-go di West Hollywood semasa menghadiri University of Southern California.[5][6][7] The live version of Go-Go Boy Interrupted continued in 2015.[8][9]

Fowlie juga menulis bersama dan mempersembahkan rancangan Off-Broadway seorang wanita So Long Boulder City, berdasarkan rancangan fiksyen yang dicipta oleh watak Emma Stone, Mia Dolan dalam filem 2016 La La Land. Ditulis bersama dan diarahkan oleh Jordan Black, So Long Boulder City telah dipersembahkan di Los Angeles sebelum tayangannya selama enam bulan di teater SubCulture Off-Broadway di New York City.[10]

Beliau adalah penyumbang kepada The Huffington Post.[1]

Fowlie telah diupah sebagai penulis untuk Saturday Night Live pada tahun 2022, pada permulaan rancangan musim ke-48.[11]

Kehidupan peribadi

Fowlie berasal dari Bedford, Massachusetts,[12] di luar Boston, tempat dia menamatkan pengajian dari Walnut Hill School. Beliau mengambil jurusan teater di University of Southern California di Los Angeles.[2][3][4] Fowlie adalah gay.[13]
