Драговити

Византиски печат од 11 век од некој анонимус "критики (цивилен гувернер) на Драговитија"

Драговити биле македонско јужнословенско племе кое се населило на Балканот кон крајот на 6 и почетокот на 7 век.[1]

Две различни гранки се споменуваат во изворите, едната се населува во средновековна Македонија на север и на исток од Солун и околу градот Бер (во денешна Грција).[1][2]

Заедно со другите словенски племиња (Берзити, Драговити, Вајонити, Велегезити и Сагудати) на чело со драговитскиот поглавар Хацон, учествувале во нападите на Солун во 614-616 година, но и подоцна во 674-677 година.[1]

Драговитија била склавинија (кнежевство) на територијата на Егејска Македонија, западно од Солун а денес во Република Грција, основано од македонското словенско племе Драговити. Оваа склавинија претставувала посебна епископија (еретичка црква) која го носела истото име,[2] Драговитија (административна единица).[1]

Со настапувањето на византиската реконквиста, еден дел од племето, се чини дека се преселило на север. Нивното име во континуитет се зачувало до 13 век, кога се споменува Драговитската област во Полог и „тиранија (власт) на Драговитите“ во Бер.[1]
