Baira Kovanova (krievu: Баира Сергеевна Кованова; dzimusi 1986. gada 2. jūlijā Elistā) ir kalmiku izcelsmes Krievijas starptautiskā lielmeistare šahā (2007).

Biogrāfija

2005. gadā uzvarējusi Krievijas junioru šaha čempionātā, izcīnījusi bronzas medaļu Eiropas junioru šaha čempionātā un ierindojusies 6. vietā Pasaules junioru šaha čempionātā U18 vecuma grupā. 2006. gadā atkārtoti uzvarējusi Krievijas junioru šaha čempionātā U18 vecuma grupā. 2012. gadā uzvarējusi Krievijas sieviešu šaha čempionātā augstākajā līgā.

2009. un 2010. gadā piedalījusies FIDE sieviešu Grand Prix turnīru sērijā, kurā labāko rezultātu sasniegusi turnīrā Naņdzjinā, kurā ieņēmusi 9.vietu (uzvarējusi Sjui Juihua).[1]

2023. gada oktobrī Sanktpēterburgā uzvarējusi Krievijas sieviešu šaha čempionāta superfinālā.[2] 2024. gada augustā Barnaulā ierindojusies 11. vietā Krievijas sieviešu šaha čempionāta superfinālā.[3]

Piedalījusies Pasaules šaha čempionātos sievietēm pēc izslēgšanas sistēmas:

Pārstāvējusi Krievijas trešo komandu Pasaules šaha olimpiādē 2010. gadā.[6]

Par panākumiem turnīros FIDE 2006. gadā Kovanovai piešķīra starptautiskās meistares (WIM), bet 2007. gadā - starptautiskās lielmeistares (WGM) nosaukumu.[7][8]
