Laivių akmuo, vadinamas Laumės kūliu (valstybės saugoma kultūros vertybė: unikalus kodas – 12781, senas registro kodas – M152) – mitologinis akmuo šiaurės rytinėje Kretingos rajono savivaldybės teritorijos dalyje, Laiviuose, 1,12 km į šiaurės vakarus nuo kelių  2302  Salantai–Plateliai–Alsėdžiai  ir  2704  Seda–Barstyčiai–Salantai  kryžkelės, Bubino upelyje.

Akmuo

Pilkai balkšvas granitas, pailgas šiaurės - pietų kryptimi, 1,7 m ilgio, 1,2 m pločio, 1,3 m aukščio. Virš vandens kyšo apie 50 cm. Viršutinėje akmens dalyje yra nedidelis, 15 cm ilgio ir 10 cm pločio įdubimas, primenantis pėdą.

Teritorijos plotas – 10,70 m².

2,0 km į pietvakarius yra Laivių, Salantų Laumės kūlis, 0,27 km į pietryčius – Laivių kapinynas, 0,18 km į šiaurę – Laivių piliakalnis.

Istorija

Akmuo vietos gyventojų žinomas nuo seno, vadinamas Laumės kūliu (liet. Laumės akmeniu).

1993 m. įrašytas į laikinąją istorijos ir kultūros paminklų apskaitą (l. a. 304/10),[1] 2000 m. įregistruotas kultūros vertybių registro mitologinių objektų sąraše (M152),[2] 2005 m. pripažintas valstybės saugomu kultūros paveldo objektu.[3]

Padavimai ir pasakojimai

  • Akmuo seniau stovėjęs pagonių šventykloje ir ant jo buvo aukojamos aukos dievams.
  • Ant akmens naktimis skalbdavusios laumės. Žmonės, esą, girdėdavo jas teliūškuojant, matydavo judant kažką balsvą.[4]

1993 m. žvalgė Vykintas Vaitkevičius, 1999 ir 2017 m. – Julius Kanarskas.
