Amerikos lietuvių dailininkų sąjunga

Amerikos lietuvių dailininkų sąjunga, ALDS – JAV lietuvių dailininkų organizacija, įkurta 1956 m. balandžio 26 d. Čikagoje, perorganizavus 1948 m. Vokietijoje įkurtą Pasaulio lietuvių dailininkų ir architektų sąjungą.

Veikla

Amerikos lietuvių dailininkų sąjunga vienija profesionalius JAV lietuvių dailininkus, rengia metines jų kūrybos parodas, aukštesniųjų lituanistinių mokyklų meno programas, dalyvauja kultūros kongresų veikloje. 1958 m. į ALDS įstojo Niujorko lietuvių dailininkų sąjunga „Gintaras“.[1] Sąjungos skyrius kurį laiką veikė ir Niujorke. Jų veikla greitai nutrūko.[2]
