516 Arokos tiltas – kabamasis pėsčiųjų tiltas (vad. beždžionių tiltas) šiaurinėje Portugalijoje, prie Arokos miestelio, Aveiro rajone.[1]

Šio 516 m ilgio, 1,2 m pločio[2] tilto siūbuojanti ažūrinė metalinė konstrukcija 175 m aukštyje sujungė Paivos upės slėnio krantus, tiltas laikomas plieninių trosų ir dviejų V formos betoninių bokštų, kurie stovi abiejose slėnio pusėse.[1] Teigiama, kad tiltą įkvėpė inkų tiltai per Andų kalnų slėnius,[3] jį projektuojant pasitelkta tibetietiška beatraminė tiltų statybos tradicija. Tiltas yra Arokos geologinio parko, įtraukto į UNESCO pasaulio paveldo sąrašą, teritorijoje.[1]

Tiltą projektavo Portugalijos ne pelno organizacija „Statybos, energetikos, aplinkos ir tvarumo mokslinių tyrimų ir technologinės plėtros institutas“ (Itecons), o statybos darbus atliko kompanija „Conduril – Engenharia SA“. Tilto statybos užtruko dvejus metus, darbai atsiėjo 2,3 mln. €.[1]

Istorija

Tiltas atidarytas 2021 m. gegužės pradžioje, tuo metu tai buvo ilgiausias pasaulyje kabamasis pėsčiųjų tiltas.[1][3]
