La Strona (inscì anca in Italian; Stron-a in piemontes; Schtrünnu in walser) l'è on riaa de la Provincia de Verbania.
La nass del Capezzon a 2.421 meter de voltezza e la traversa la vall che la gh'ha el sò nomm. La passa per i paes de Strona, Masciola, Quarna de Sora, Loreja, Germagn, Omegna, Casal e Gravaluna.
A Omegna la se gionta con la Nigoeuja; quand che poeu la riva a Gravaluna, la va dent a la Tos, e de là al Lagh Maggior.
