L'è la montagna pussee alta de la Provincia de Lecch e de la banda occidental di Orobi.
El gh'ha ona forma a piramid e 'l se troeuva in mezz tra el Lagh de Comm e la Valtellina, che inscì l'è separada anca de la Val Varron (voeuna di vall laterai de la Valsassina).
Anca se l'è minga ona montagna de quei pussee interessant per l'alpinismo, l'è frequentada assee per i escursion, anca perchè de lì in scima se ved on gran bell panorama: el se pò vedè tutt el Lagh de Comm, tutta la Valtellina e ona bella porzion di Alp fina al Mont Rosa.
