Алунит

‎ Алунит , ашудас – сульфаттар класына жататын минерал. Химиялық формуласы: Kal3[SO4]2·OH6. Тригональдық сингонияда ұсақ куб пішінде кристаллданады. Ұсақ түйіршікті немесе талшықты агрегаттар түзейді. Түсі сұрғылт, сарғылт немесе қызғылт реңді ақ, шыныдай жылтыр. Қаттылығы 3,5 – 4, меншілік салмағы 2,6 – 2,8 г/см3. Алунит сілтілі дала шпаттарына бай ортада не қышқыл құрамды магмалық жыныстарда, кейде алюминий тотығына бай жыныстарға сульфатты судың әсер етуінен пайда болады. Бұл процесс Алуниттену деп аталады. Алуниттену алтын, мыс полиметалл кендерін іздеу кезінде кен белгілері болып табылады. Күйдірілген Алуниттен ашудас пен алюминий сульфатын алады, сонымен бірге отқа төзімді материалдар өндіретін шикізат ретінде де пайдаланылады. Қазақстанда Алунит кендері Торғай ойпатында (Қашар), Сарыарқа өңірінде (Баян, Ақтайлақ, Тарғыл, т.б.) бар.[1]

Алунит (фр. alunite— квасцтер)— алунит — квасцтер көбіне негізінен калий мен алюминий сульфаттарынан тұратын минерал. Бұл квасцтер мен глинозем алу үшін шикізат ретінде пайдаланылады. [2].
