გრიგოლ დევდარიანი (დ. 8 ოქტომბერი, 1908 — გ. 25 მარტი, 1991) — ქართველი გეოგრაფი და პედაგოგი. გეოგრაფიულ მეცნიერებათა კანდიდატი (1947), დოცენტი (1948). მიღებული აქვს უმაღლესი სკოლის დამსახურებული მუშაკის წოდება (1982).

ბიოგრაფია

გრიგოლ დევდარიანმა 1927 წელს დაამთავრა პედაგოგიური ცხრაწლედი და სპეციალური კურსების გავლის შემდეგ მუშაობა დაიწყო სოფელ ხუნევის (ხარაგაულის მუნიციპალიტეტი) სკოლაში ისტორიისა და ბუნებისმეტყველების მასწავლებლად. 1930 წელს გადაიყვანეს ხარაგაულის ცხრაწლიან სასწავლებელში; 1930 წელს ჩაირიცხა თბილისის სახელმწიფო უნივერსიტეტის გეოგრაფია-გეოლოგიის ფაკულტეტზე გეოლოგიის სპეციალობაზე; 1933 წელს გადაიყვანეს მოსკოვის უნივერსიტეტში გეოგრაფიის ფაკულტეტზე ფიზიკური გეოგრაფიის განხრით; 1936 წელს დაამთავრა აღნიშნული სპეციალობა და მუშაობა დაიწყო თბილისის სახელმწიფო უნივერსიტეტის ფიზიკური გეოგრაფიის კათედრაზე.[1]

1938 წელს დაიწყო ლექციების კურსის კითხვა — ქვეყნის ნაწილების ფიზიკურ გეოგრაფიაში. შეთავსებით მუშაობდა ქუთაისის, ბათუმის, თბილისის პედაგოგიურ ინსტიტუტებში; 1940 წელს გადაიყვანეს ქუთაისის პედაგოგიურ ინსტიტუტში, იყო კათედრის გამგე, დეკანი; 1957–59 წლებში მუშაობდა თბილისის პედაგოგიურ ინსტიტუტში, ხოლო 1954 წლიდან თბილისის სახელმწიფო უნივერსიტეტის ფიზიკური გეოგრაფიის კათედრის დოცენტი იყო.[1]

პედაგოგიურ მუშაობასთან ერთად ეწეოდა სამეცნიერო კვლევასაც. საკანდიდატო დისერტაცია დაიცვა 1947 წელს თემაზე: „სამეგრელოს ბორცვიანი ვაკის გეომორფოლოგია“. მისი მეცნიერული ნაშრომები ეხება დასავლეთ საქართველოს გეომორფოლოგიის ცალკეულ საკითხებს — კარსტოლოგიას, ტერასებს და სხვა. გამოიკვლია ცენტრალური სამეგრელოს ბორცვიანი ვაკე, გურიის მთისწინეთი და საქართველოს მთათაშორისი ბარის სხვა ნაწილები.[1]

გამოქვეყნებული აქვს 150-ზე მეტი სამეცნიერო ნაშრომი. ისინი ძირითადად ეხება საქართველოს ცალკეული რეგიონების ბუნებრივ ლანდშაფტებსა და გეომორფოლოგიის საკითხებს. მიღებული აქვს ივანე ჯავახიშვილის სახელობის მედალი.[1]
