სიმონ კონსტანტინეს ძე გოგიტიძე (დ. 3 (15) იანვარი, 1872, სოფ. ჭალა, ახლანდ. ოზურგეთის მუნიციპალიტეტი — გ. 4 მარტი, 1927, თბილისი) — პედიატრი, მეცნიერული პედიატრიის პიონერი საქართველოში; მედიცინის მეცნიერებათა დოქტორი (1904 წ.), პროფესორი (1912 წ.).

ბიოგრაფია

1897 წ. დაამთავრა კიევის უნივერსიტეტის სამედიცინო ფაკულტეტი და იქვე დაიწყო მუშაობა ბავშვთა სნეულებების კათედრაზე. სადისერტაციო ნაშრომი ეხებოდა ქალის რძეში ცხიმის გაჩენის გზებს. 1904 წ. მონაწილეობდა რუსეთ-იაპონიის ომში. 1909 წ. აირჩიეს კიევის უნივერსიტეტის პედიატრიის კათედრის პრივატდოცენტად, 1912 წ. – ნოვოროსიის (ოდესა) უნივერსიტეტის პედიატრიის კათედრის გამგედ. შემდეგ საქართველოში დაბრუნდა. 1921 წლიდან იყო თბილისის სახელმწიფო უნივერსიტეტის ბავშვთა სნეულებების კათედრის გამგე. გოგიტიძის შრომებში განსაკუთრებული ყურადღება ეთმობა ბავშვის ორგანიზმის თავისებურებებისა და ჰიგიენის შესწავლას. მათ შორისაა „ბავშვის კვება“ (ტფილისი, 1927 წ.).
