Hi! I noticed today that "Short url" from [1] is broken; it is not present any more. It still works in other WP languages. I am using these refferences at LibraryThing (see Rudi Assuntino). Maybe you can change the site configurations to preserve the functionality. Thanks in advance. The screen dump shows how the Javascript allows the generation of permanent links according to Bugzilla:021572. This was working at it.wp in the past but is broken since a few days. The Javascript from [2] is still working at other wp projects as demonstrated in the screen dump (link [3] for en:Warsaw Ghetto).
Background: Such links are still valid regardless how often a page is moved. It is still possible to look at the pages sourcecode to identify the wgArticleId=3044130 and in order to generate links as http://it.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?curid=3044130 but this costs extra time.

- You are aware that Utente:לערי ריינהארט/monobook.js is only loaded if you are using the monobook skin, right? To make it work in vector, it should be at Utente:לערי ריינהארט/vector.js. Other than that, the code seems to be working fine. Platonides (msg) 13:37, 22 lug 2010 (CEST)
