Trama
In un grattacielo nel centro di Seul, una misteriosa infezione da funghi mucillaginosi mutati si diffonde improvvisamente a causa di un attacco bioterroristico. Tutti coloro che si trovano all'interno dell'edificio, tra cui la professoressa di biotecnologie Kwon Se-jeong, sono costretti a rimanere isolati e lottano per sopravvivere contro gli infetti.
Distribuzione
Gunche è stato presentato in anteprima nella sezione Proiezioni di mezzanotte del 79° Festival di Cannes il 15 maggio 2026.[2] Nei cinema sudcoreani ha debuttato sei giorni dopo.[3]
Sequel
Un sequel del film uscirà in forma di romanzo, da cui verrà tratto un videogioco.[4]
